  • Warranty and Complaints
  • 1We strive to ensure that you, as a customer, feel confident when shopping with us. The warranty covers malfunctions that occur during manufacturing. In the event of a malfunction in a product within the manufacturer’s promised warranty period, the affected item must always be reported to the manufacturer and tested against their promised warranty. Depending on the manufacturer of the item, this is often reported by the customer themselves via the manufacturer’s service portal, according to the practices and requirements of the item’s manufacturer. The warranty does not cover faults that arise during or after the customer’s modification of the product’s function and appearance, such as reconstruction, upgrading, or other modification of the product. The warranty does not apply if an item has been test-assembled and has incurred visual damage in the process. Once the item is put into use for the first time, the warranty ceases to apply. The warranty applies if a fault in the item is discovered during, for example, test assembly, provided that it has not incurred any other visual or technical damage. Before a warranty repair or exchange can be approved, we or one of our partners need to inspect the product. If the product is not affected by a warranty defect but by a so-called user error (including incorrectly installed product, damage due to negligence, etc.), we reserve the right to charge you for the inspection cost. Shipping costs and handling fees apply. For technical support, ReefStock reserves the right to refer the customer to third-party companies or to the respective product manufacturer. Please note that support may be in English for some manufacturers and only available through contact via email or website.
  • Right of Withdrawal and Open Purchase We offer you a 14-day right of withdrawal (Open Purchase) from the date you receive the item. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the item must be sent to our return address below. Please note that you bear the risk if the product is damaged during return transportation to us. Therefore, ensure that the item is well-packaged with the original product packaging. In cases where accessories are missing or physical damage is present, we reserve the right to charge a fee to restore the item to functional condition. How do I return my item? Always call or email us before returning the item. When using your right of withdrawal, you, as the customer, are responsible for the return shipping. Other costs, such as the cost of the item and shipping from us to you, will be refunded. ReefStock will not accept packages sent cash on delivery or with postage due. Remember to return the shipment as a business package to our return address.

Guarantee
Guarantee is for 12 months for material or manufacturing defects, if not other is notified. Consumables like light tubes, lamps is not included in guarantee.

At dispute
In cases at dispute we have policy to follow General Complaints Board recommendation.

Live Shipping and DOA Policy:

When you choose to purchase live fish, corals, or other lower animals from us, the following terms apply:

We ship live animals on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Animals sent with live shipping, or express fish freight, must be picked up no later than 4 hours after you have been notified that packages are available for collection at agents. At DOA “Dead on arrival” of live animals, we ask you to take a picture of the animal in an unopened bag, where you can see clearly. Opened bags will not be accepted. Live shipping delays, please contact us directly.

compensation at DOA,
In the event of mortality in animals that fall within our DOA policy above, we will replace the animal’s value on the next live order, shipping will not be reimbursed.
The customer has the option of replacing a living good with another living good of the same value or choosing another living good with a higher value and adding the difference.
The original invoice must be paid in full and the customer cannot deduct for lost living goods, without first agreeing with ReefStock

Inventory balance, Since we are a small store and try to keep prices down, we do not have any inventory management software, We sell quite a lot in stores and it can differ in stock balance in the webshop, We apologize for this but it is difficult especially with live animals. If you have ordered something that is not in stock, we will contact you.

For areas where the shipping time is longer than 48 hours, we usually do not ship. You are welcome to call us and see if it is applicable or possible to ship. In this and the aforementioned case, we prioritize the well-being and safety of the animals.

When you receive a notification, regardless of the shipping time or the company, you have a maximum of 4 hours to pick up or receive the package. If you have not picked up the package within 4 hours, we do not replace any animals, corals, or other lower animals.

We reserve the complete right to assess and determine, in each individual case, which shipping method and/or company is the safest shipping method to reach the desired destination.

The fixed shipping rates for live animals do NOT apply to transports further north in Sweden where it is not possible to ship within 48 hours without special shipping. Contact us for more information and/or a quote.

These general terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) apply between Reefstock 1985108893 (the “Company”) and you who place an order from us via www.reefstock.se. Detailed contact details and other information about the Company can be found on the Website. The terms and conditions only apply to you as a consumer who completes your order and thereby purchases a product from us via the Website.
If you are shopping as a private individual, you need to be over 16 years old and not be under guardianship. If you are under 16 years of age, the consent of your guardians is required to order from us.

NO RETURN POLICY! You CANNOT return live animals, corals, or other lower animals.

  1. Purchase Information When placing an order, a purchase agreement is reached when you choose to confirm your purchase at the checkout. An automated order confirmation will then be sent to your registered email address. Ordered products remain the property of ReefStock until they are fully paid for. Your order will be shipped from our warehouse in Arlöv. Changes and additions must be made before your order is processed and dispatched from us. If you discover any inaccuracies in your order, it is important that you contact our support immediately to possibly amend your order. In the case of obvious inaccuracies (e.g., incorrect prices, changes in exchange rates, typographical errors, etc.), we reserve the right to correct the error afterwards. If you are not satisfied with our correction, you naturally have the right to cancel your order. We only enter into agreements with adults, or minors with the consent of a guardian, as well as legal entities.
  2. Prices and Payment Methods All prices are stated including VAT. Any fees for shipping and cash on delivery may apply, which will be indicated at the checkout. After an order has been confirmed, the price can only be changed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., war, natural disasters, etc.) and sudden, supplier-driven price increases and/or inaccuracies in the stated price. ReefStock reserves the right to revise the final selling price in the event of major price deviations after an item has been ordered by the end customer. In such cases, the end customer has the right to cancel the order if they no longer find the price reasonable.
  3. Delivery Information:
  4. If items are not in stock and must be ordered from the supplier, they will have a longer delivery time, typically 1 to 3 weeks, but sometimes longer. You can find information about the current stock status for each product on our website. If partial delivery is requested, the customer will be charged an additional shipping fee according to the applicable tariff.
  5. We cannot offer any compensation for delivery delays. If any of the products you have ordered have a significantly longer delivery time than the other products on your order, we may, in some cases, split your order. As a customer, you will never need to pay more than the original shipping cost in such situations. You will also not be charged any extra cash-on-delivery fee.
  6. We assume the transport risk when we send something to you, which means we will replace the item free of charge in case of any shipping damage or loss of the shipment. The shipping company must first determine that the item is damaged or missing. In the event of a return to us, you as the customer are responsible for the transportation cost and risk.
  7. For unclaimed packages, we will charge you from 499 SEK (depending on the size of the shipment) for incurred costs. Therefore, it is important to always pick up your orders within 14 days from the arrival date at the pick-up point.
  8. We are part of a central freight agreement that includes several well-known shipping companies, allowing us to maintain a good price level for our shipments. Tracking numbers and shipping providers will be sent to you by email when your order is dispatched.
  9. We offer several delivery options:
  10. Parcel to agent: Your order will be delivered to your nearest agent. You will receive notification via SMS, email, or postal notice. To pick up the package, you will need to bring valid identification. A package will be held at the agent for 14 days from the arrival date.
  11. Home delivery for weights over 20 kg: Items weighing over 20 kg will be delivered directly to your address, and you will be notified before delivery.
  12. Home delivery of Salthink/sacks over 20 kg: Salt bucket and sacks weight over 20 kg will be delivered directly to your address, and you will be notified before delivery. Maximum 2 buckets/sacks per purchase, and for ordering more, an additional shipping cost will be added.
  13. Home delivery with pallet: Heavier and larger items that must be delivered with a pallet, such as complete aquariums, are delivered to the ground floor on weekdays and you will be notified before delivery.
  14. Business package: Delivery to business addresses on weekdays between 08.00-17.00. No notification will be made in advance, but if no one is present, a notice will be left, and the shipment can be picked up at the nearest agent.
  15. Self-pickup: Order your item online and pick it up yourself from our warehouse in Arlöv at your convenience. For self-pickup, you can pay on-site with Swish or card.
  16. Our primary shipping company is DHL, but we also use UPS and Postnord.
    • Shipping of Frozen Food:
    • We ship frozen food Monday through Thursday, excluding Fridays. Frozen food falls under the coral shipping tariff, which is 399 SEK.
    • We use custom packaging with freezer packs.
    • NOTE!!! No guarantees are provided for frozen food! No returns are accepted for frozen food!
    • Transport Damage and Misdelivery:
    • If the product is damaged during delivery, you must report it to us immediately. To process a claim for damage, we need to report the damage to the shipping company within 1-3 days. Therefore, we appreciate it if you report the damage within this time frame. We will arrange for a new delivery at no cost to you as the customer so that you receive a flawless product. If the shipping damage is visible on the outer packaging, it is important that you point this out upon receipt of the package. To ensure that the claim against the shipping company is handled correctly, you must save the packaging, shipping label, and any pallet that came with the damaged shipment.
    • If an order is incorrectly fulfilled, you need to report it to our Customer Service as soon as possible. A new correct delivery will then be made to you immediately at no extra cost.
    • Force Majeure: ReefStock is not liable for damage or delay caused by statutory provisions, government actions, mobilization, war events, seizures, currency restrictions, system failures, errors, or restrictions in deliveries from subcontractors, strikes, lockouts, boycotts, blockades, or any other similar circumstances that either prevent or hinder ReefStock performance to such an extent that it cannot be achieved except at abnormally high cost.
